I’m glad you asked. This recipe surprised me with how versatile it is. It started off as lunch and the possibilities became endless. This is great as an appetizer, the warm up to a bigger meal. This will definitely wake up your taste buds and open up that appetite.

Go hard or Go home. Well sometimes we can’t all go hard. If you want a healthier option then consider throwing in a salad. The bite of shrimp will be the perfect balance to a bed of fresh greens. The shrimp is fried so the pot is already hot and filled with oil so why not make use of it. Fry up some fries and you have an epic lunch that balances spicy, sweet and salty.

What do you need ?

Now that we are all excited to cook let’s run down the list of items that you need.

Shrimp: Start with your favorite pack of frozen cooked shrimp. I went with the jumbo size because you want this to be as filling as possible. Tail off the shrimp for cooking. It’s so annoying removing them while eating.

Bread crumbs: If you’ve been following me for awhile you know I love Panko. More specifically Roland’s Italian Herb panko bread crumbs.

Sauce: Grace Sweet and spicy sauce that can be found in your average supermarket in Jamaica. It’s around $200 so it’s affordable and delicious.

Pantry items: An egg, seasonings, oil, flour and cooked rice or a side of your choice

  1. I tried this! It came out great. Now the Grace sauce is apart of my spice and sauce must haves. Teh secret to getting the sauce out of the bottle quicker is to hold the bottle in a slanted angled position and shake 🙂 you are welcome lol
